About Jacqueline Malcolm:
Hola, my name is Jacqueline (JCar), and I am a first-generation Mexican American artist painting the world in shades of brown. I am the Founder of JCar Creative @JCarCreative, a studio that brings the Latinx experience to the forefront of design. I am an artist who is focused on not only making sure that her cultura lives on forever, but making sure that my community feels seen, respected, and uplifted. I create pieces that channel the strength of our ancestors and highlight the power of a pueblo unido. I am currently based in the DMV, but call South Florida home. When I’m not illustrating the world around me, I’m enjoying everyday moments with my husband, family, and English Bulldog Ivy.
