About us/ Our Story

We are eje 64, a design company offering home decor by Latinx artists and artisans. Our artists are centered in our offerings. We believe that through the specificity of their art we can break through the stereotypes and commodification of latinx culture and art.  By bringing their art and decor into your home we hope you can make your home feel alive, connected and personal.

Our Products

We work with artisans from around the world to deliver high quality products. When possible we work with local materials and local businesses always being conscious about our impact on our community and the world around us.

About the Founders

We are three sisters, Laura, Lina and Estefania (listed in order of appearance into this world). We have all spent time working in marketing and design/art - and we decided to join our strengths to form this company. We were born in Colombia and migrated with our parents when young. We have always lived in neighborhoods with a strong latinx population and wanted to share their work and experiences with a wider audience.

Our LED Neon

We work with local New York artisans to bring our neon designs to life. We use LED Neon that is safe to use, does not contain toxic chemicals, and is low in energy consumption.

Giving Back

Our mission is to enable our homes to reflect our identities as Latinx and immigrants. We also recognize that not all immigrants feel safe in their homes. With each series release, eje64 will select one product and dedicate 5% profit to an organization dedicated to the advancement of undocumented immigrants in the US. As we grow, we pledge to seek out additional ways of supporting nuestra gente.

Land Acknowledgement

Our headquarters is based out of Brooklyn, New York. We acknowledge that this space is the traditional land and home of the Munsee Lenape, past and present. We honor with gratitude the land, spirits and indigenous people of this region. We will continue to educate ourselves to be better inhabitants of the land we’re on, and members of this community.
